An Android app “Ignore No More” was created by Sharon Standifird, a mother of two from Houston, Texas. She thought of the idea because her son Brandley constantly ignoring her calls.
She started to do research on how to develop an app and consulted with developers for months before the app came to life.
Using the app, a parent can to lock their kid’s phone if his or her call was ignored. It can be unlocked if the child can ask their parent for a passcode.
As long as the phone is locked, the child only has two options — either call his or her parents t ask for the password or call 911.
Ignore No More is now available at Google Play Store for Android phones for $1.99.
Standifird said she is already working on an iOS version of the app.
