Microsoft Surface “mini” expected to Ship by End of 2013


Media reports suggests that tech giant Microsoft is working on a new tablet called the Surface “mini”, a device expected to start shipping by the end of 2013.

The move is seen as an attempt for the tech giant to compete with Apple’s iPad mini.

The Microsoft Surface “mini” is reported to be an ARM device. It comes with a Qualcomm processor and will run on Windows RT 8.1.The surface mini will spot an eight-inch display will be 8 inches. No further details have been released, though we are sure to get more information soon.

The surface mini is expected to ship by the end of 2013,a date later than that of  the new Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2, though the exact date is unknown.  What we know so far is that most of the devices have been planned for launch just before the upcoming holiday season.
