Alcatel has announced a new smartphone, the Alcatel One Touch Idol ALPHA which the company will be showcasing later this week.

The Alcatel One Touch Idol ALPHA comes with a 4.7-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It also sports a 12.1-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and can record full-HD videos. There is a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It also includes 16GB of internal storage. The Alcatel One Touch Idol ALPHA is a single SIM device and comes with 2000mAh battery.

Alcatel One Touch Idol ALPHA will make its official debut in Berlin during the IFA.
