In order to show its appreciation for the five million “Likes” it has received so far, Porsche has created a unique edition of the 911 Carrera 4S based on what 54,000 Facebook users said would be their ideal design.
As part of the “50 Years of the Porsche 911” anniversary celebrations, and to celebrate reaching five million “likes” on the social networking site, Porsche launched a campaign on its Facebook page that allowed visitors to select from a range of spec options to design their own 911.
Porsche has now built the car, based on the most popular options, and is running another Facebook competition (that runs until August 18) where the winner will get the chance to drive it at the Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone. Runners-up will receive a 1:43 scale model of the car.
The one-off Porsche 911 Carrera 4S has Aqua Blue metallic paintwork, white 20in wheels and an Aerokit package that includes a fixed rear spoiler.
