The phone runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. Canvas 4 is powered by a 2,000mAH battery.

The phone also offers some smart features including a pop-up play like video player allowing users to simultaneously view videos while doing other tasks, automatic pausing of videos when one looks away among many others.

Micromax Canvas 4 will come with a new cover worth Rs.3,000, that will allow the use of the phone even when the screen is covered.
