MTN, Huawei introduce new smartphone

MTN Ghana and mobile manufacturer Huawei launched a new phone dubbed Huawei Ascend Y210, in Accra on Thursday.

Speaking at the launch, Mr Michael Ikpoki, Chief Executive Officer, MTN Ghana, said the company would continue to invest in areas that would help address the needs of customers.

Ikpoki also added that the arrival of the Huawei Ascend Y210, also known as the MTN Smartphone, would be aimed at introducing customers to digital technology.

Meanwhile, Bart Wang Yingjie, managing director, Huawei Ghana, commented that Huawei’s partnership with MTN will offer the best services to customers.

CEO of MTN Ghana, Rahul De, also added that MTN had invested in fibre networks across the country as part of its commitment to its customers.
