On Wednesday, AT&T announced that the LTE-capable Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will join the carrier’s roster in “the coming weeks” as an AT&T exclusive.
Rocking a 8-inch display, the device runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and features a 1.6GHz quad-core processor4,600 mAh battery, 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB internal storage, micro SD card slot for cards up to 32GB, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. AT&T is also offering up 50GB of free cloud storage via AT&T Locker, which will become available via an update.
The12 ounces Note 8.0 was first unveiled at Mobile World Congress.
With more than 200 million 4g LTE users in the US, and plans to expand to 300 million users by the end of 2014 AT&T may have seemed like a perfect choice for Samsung.
There are no hard date or pricing at the moment, we’ll have to continue playing the waiting game.
