HTC has had a tumultous couple of years; it went from being one of the biggest smartphone makers to taking a backseat to Apple and Samsung. Even its latest partnership with Facebook to have Facebook home pre-installed on the HTC First smartphone, didn’t do so well from reports in the market indicating that AT&A, one of U.S. major phone carriers might discontinue their sale of the HTC First phone popularly known as the Facebook phone. As if that is not enough, the company has registed a series of losses over the past few months due to several reasons.
Luckily HTC’s fortunes seems to be brightening up as the company’s new flagship smartphone, the HTC One has been a huge hit. In an attempt to rise on that success, HTC is reportedly getting ready to launch an HTC One with a 5+inch phablet and a 4.3-inch HTC One mini.
The reported specs of the phablet will be identical to the current HTC One and it will be wrapped in the same anodized aluminum unibody enclosure as its smaller sibling.
The HTC One mini will reportedly have a 4.3-inch display, front facing stereo speakers and an UltraPixel camera.
There was no date given of when to expect these smartphones except “soon.”
