If you are an entrepreneur in Asia, or are looking to venture in the Asian market, then the HKTDC Entrepreneur Day is where you should be on May-1 June.
The event promises to provide great opportunities for networking along with updates on what is happening in the entrepreneurial world. Already more than 120 exhibitors have confirmed attendance to the event that will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).
The two-day event, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will showcase business opportunities and support services for entrepreneurs.
Highlights of this fifth edition will include some 20 seminars and feature the business stories of a variety of successful entrepreneurs. They include Danny Yeung, CEO of Groupon Hong Kong, Raymond Li, CEO of The Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Ltd and Stark Chan, Founder of Bull.B Tech.
Participating organizations will offer the latest information on start-up funding, incubation programs, franchising, business intermediaries, online business, accounting, legal advice, information technology, marketing and management support and intellectual property.
“Deal Flow,”, a new deal-sourcing and matchmaking session, will feature one-on-one meetings between potential investors and project owners. Another new fair session, “Entrepreneur Arena,” will allow young entrepreneurs to present their business plans in public, with judges and audience members responding to their proposals and ideas.
