With the Google Nexus I/O justa few weeks away, and already romors are swirling around about what the tech giant might announce during the event.

One such romor that has featured prominently is the announcement of a refreshed Google Nexus 7. Tjis first appeared on a report by AppleInsider,

The site quoted Ming-Chi Kuo, an Analyst with KGI Securities, who shares that the next generation of Google Nexus 7 tablet will come with a high-resolution screen, 5-megapixel rear camera, wireless charging, and run on Android Jelly Bean operating system all at $199.

The $199 price may see Google lose atleast $5 to $10 per unit but will look at recovering that cost from media purchases and ad revenues.

Kuo expects Google to adopt the same distribution model for its new tablet as it did for the Google Nexus 7.

Other announcements that could be made at the Google I/O 2013 scheduled for May 15 to 17 in San Francisco include gaming related announcements.
